ProRunning Bond
Brick-style offset. Hides minor wall imperfections.
When to use
Each row shifts by half a tile, breaking up the grid and softening any out-of-square walls — what brickwork has always done. Reads casual and traditional, and is the default for subway tile in kitchens and bathrooms. Slightly more cuts at the ends of each row than a straight layout.
Recommended tile sizes
Rectangles work best — classic 3"×6" subway, 4"×12" planks, and 12"×24" large format. Square tiles also work but the offset is less visible.
Typical waste
Budget around 15% extra tile when ordering. The planner uses this as the default when you compute boxes-needed — override per project if your installer is more or less efficient.
