ProDouble Herringbone
Herringbone in pairs. Reads bolder, with more texture.
When to use
Two tiles run together at each angle instead of one, producing a chunkier, more graphic herringbone. Great when standard herringbone feels too busy or the tile is on the smaller side. Common in modern fireplaces, feature walls, and large bathroom floors.
Recommended tile sizes
Like standard herringbone, this needs an integer 2:1 to 5:1 ratio — 4"×12", 3"×12", 2"×8" all work well. Pairing emphasizes the elongation, so longer tiles especially shine.
Typical waste
Budget around 22% extra tile when ordering. The planner uses this as the default when you compute boxes-needed — override per project if your installer is more or less efficient.
